Sri Lanka hotel firm buy travel agency company

Aug 04, 2011 (LBO) - Sri Lanka's listed Citrus Leisure said it had bought a 51 percent stake in Lotus Travel International (Pvt) Ltd, a firm incorporated in 2004 to act as a travel agency, for 612,000 rupees.

The firm said in a stock exchange filing that it paid 10 rupees a share for 61,200 shares. The other shareholders of the travel firm was Divasa Equity Ltd (39,200) shares, Reyynor Silva (16,600 shares and Alfred Aloysius Perera (3,600 shares).

The filing did not say the travel firm had any operating business.
